In late 2022 I sat vigil with my grandmother as her life’s journey came to an end, advocating for what I knew she would have wanted… Little did I know at the time she was my muse, and while my family and I should have documented all her end-of-life preferences well in advance, I knew with all my heart being present for her during this transitional time, to make sure things were just so, was my calling.  A calling that can be shared to help others find peace at the end of their own journey.

My name is Kristin McAdams, and I was certified as an End-of-Life Doula by Doulagivers Institute.  I live in Cleveland, Ohio and serve the surrounding suburbs located in Cuyahoga, Lorain and Medina counties. As an attuned Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy practitioner, I also offer these modalities complimentary to my patients with expressed interest.

Donna Baker

Donna is an INELDA-certified death doula and the founder of Columbus Community Deathcare. She has been drawn to death and dying since she was a young girl growing up in Northern Ohio. Her most peaceful childhood memories include fort building and pet cemeteries. She was called to make this her life's work after the death of her father in 2014 and she received her formal training in April 2019.

As a doula, Donna offers guidance on how to care for our dying loved ones at home. She works to give families the tools they need to provide care up to and through the active-dying phase. She also provides educational consultations for home funerals, green burials, cremation and traditional burial services. She teaches eulogy and obituary writing and has been officiating ceremonies as a celebrant since 2005.
