I'm Addie Gengenbach, founder of Moonlit Moth Doula Services and an INELDA-trained end-of-life doula serving the Omaha, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa, area. I volunteer with a local hospice agency and have experience sitting bedside, supporting individuals and families, and helping people navigate death anxiety with compassion and presence.
As an after-death care and end-of-life planning educator, I believe everyone deserves to know their options and have the opportunity to make informed, meaningful choices. I offer education, guidance, and consultation around home funeral practices and advance planning.
I also host monthly Death Cafés, sharing circles, and other community events that encourage honest conversations about death, grief, and meaning-making through ritual. As co-founder of the Prairie Death Care Collective, I help foster connection among local death and grief professionals while supporting community education and collaboration.
