Jessica Dukes

Hello! I'm Jess, and I began my journey as a death doula in 2016 after discovering the myriad ways a doula can support the dying and their loved ones. I launched my professional organizing business in 2019 after relocating to Athens, GA. I soon realized the challenges clients faced in parting with items once owned by their loved ones. Leveraging my doula skills, I assisted these clients in memorializing their loved ones without the need to hold onto the items. Subsequently, I pursued various doula trainings and organized several death doula meet-and-greet events at local businesses to share the resources I had gathered. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and am currently pursuing a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Georgia.
