Valoria Walker is a Certified End-of-Life Doula, Community Death Educator, and Founder of Doula by Destiny. She helps individuals, families, and communities have more open, meaningful conversations about aging, caregiving, grief, and end-of-life care.

With a heart for helping people feel informed, supported, and prepared, Valoria creates welcoming spaces where difficult conversations about death and dying can become opportunities for connection, reflection, and peace of mind. She brings years of experience in aging services, end-of-life care, education, and advocacy, along with a deeply compassionate and person-centered approach.

Valoria holds a Master of Management in Aging Services and has been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine. Through her work, she encourages people to plan ahead, share their wishes, support one another, and approach life's final chapter with greater understanding, dignity, and compassion.

Ann Thompson is a Certified End-of-Life doula, Certified Medical Reiki Master, and ordained nonsectarian pastor. She also is the author of Whole Soul Care Giving: An End-of-Life Doula’s Tips for Caregivers, a self-help handbook for people caring for someone who is terminally ill and/or of an advanced age. During her 30+ years as a Reiki practitioner, Ann has found that energy work is especially supportive for those who are dying and their caregivers and/or loved ones. She offers both remote and in-person Reiki/EOL care services from her private healing arts studio in Silver Spring, Maryland.
